Analysis of essential oil of tea tree and lavender

Abstract: The components of essential oil of tea tree and lavender were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. 58 and 42 components were identified.The results showed that the differences of the two essential oils were relatively large.The main ingredients of tea tree oil is the alkane accounted for 39.61%, of which fenchane was 33.98%, carane was 5.5%. The second was the ketone compound 28.32%, which had the highest content of trans -Mint and mint, which were 16.76% and 7.37%, respectively.The content of terpene compounds was 21.83%, alcohol compound was about 7.83%, esters and ethers were about 0.8%.The main component of lavender essential oil is terpenes, content is 50.34%, the highest content of camphene was 28.92%.Secondly, the content of ester compound was 22.95%, and the content of acetic acid was highest, and the content of acetic acid was as high as 22.54% and the content of acetic acid was as high as 0.4%.Alcohols content is 22.75%, which accounted for 15.24% of linalool. Alkenes and alkanes are 0.97%.
